To Kill a Mockingbird

In case you haven't guessed yet, we're reading another novel in English.

On this website you'll find CHAPTER SUMMARIES, CHARACTER LISTS, POSSIBLE ESSAY QUESTIONS, CRITICAL ANALYSES, aaaaaaaand an ELECTRONIC COPY OF THE BOOK... Everything you had for The Jungle and Huck Finn.

BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE!!!

For this novel you'll also find an AUDIOBOOK so you can listen to the novel while you read it and a SURVIVAL GUIDE that has most of the vocabulary defined for you sentence by sentence.

I've been saying this for months now, but...

1. Read the CONTEXT and PLOT OVERVIEW. This step will help you get ready to read the book.

2. READ THE CHAPTER SUMMARIES BEFORE YOU READ EACH CHAPTER! They outline the important stuff in each chapter.

3. Try reading along with the AUDIOBOOK to get a feel for the language.

4. USE THE SURVIVAL GUIDE to understand difficult vocabulary.

5. USE THE "Check Yo'self B4 U Wreck Yo'self" SECTION TO PREPARE FOR TESTS AND ESSAYS.
(Where do you think most of your test questions come from?)

With all this stuff, you should be able to TEACH the class!
